Meeting Jan 17 - Winter Bug Hike - Gay City State Park - CANCELLED

Hello CES members!

For this month's meeting, instead of our usual Friday evening, we will be having a Winter Bug Hike!

There are plenty of wonders to be found, even on cold days. It will also be a great time to do some nature journaling. I will be bringing extra journaling supplies (colored pencils, etc). The weather is supposed to be in the upper 30s.

Date: Saturday, January 17th

Time: 1pm onward

Location: Gay City State Park, Hebron CT

Gay City State Park has a variety of trails, including some that are fairly short and mostly flat. There is also a lovely pond area with picnic tables near the parking area, and some streams.

We will meet at the parking area by the pond.
